would have liked to come and put some faces to the names, and although I will be in the area next weekend, we are attending a large family gathering in Port Sydney.

Hope the rain in the forecast holds off for everyone involved.

Thank you to Karen and Nunz for hosting the get together!

It's always great to see some familiar faces. And Wilkie's products.

Thanks to Nunz and Karen for hosting this.  It was a great time and nice to meet some new members and to reunite with others.

BTW, Blake, it is the Maid's Cottage, not the Cottage Maid.  They placed first at the Midland Butter Tart Festival in 2016 and 2017.

I must visit that place, to imprint the name in my mind.

GoBills, I do admit to having eaten one tart from each batch, before taking the photo....as shown by the evidence.

Thank you to Sledjunk and TheNavigator for bringing the tarts. I believe Dan Brappman may have provided the cake. Lots of goodies on hand thanks to Nunz, Karen, and the guests.

Thanks for a lovely evening!

With gas at $1.11 a liter in Parry Sound and gas in Gravenhurst at $1.05 a liter it was a good opportunity to bring along several fuel cans and stock up. Missed the opportunity to discuss with Blake the psychological background behind his butter tart affliction - currently working on a new song inspired by his butter tart travels - deep background info would influence choice of keys etc. and might inspire the bridge section of the tune which currently degenerates into the melody for Auld Lang Syne each time I try to figure it out....ah well, might have it done for next year's get together.....ms. slomo passes on "try vaping" to no one in particular....something about a shoe fitting...hope the beans were okay with the steak...great meeting everyone.
