Looking for a place to stay for a night. Would like to get a ride in then check in then ride the next day then home. Any advise would be sweet. It will be during the the week so weekend traffic is not a factor.

There is a motel on the corner of Main St and River Crescent. Saga Resort 88 Main St. Wasaga Beach. It is right at the bridge over the river which is the trail to the beachfront. It's likely the closest to the trail you'll find

There are a few in Midland. There are two right on the corner of Hwy 12 and King St. One is a best western and I don't recall the other. Kelsey's and Boston Pizza are a couple of minutes walk. We tend to stay at Kings inn on King St a bit north of Hwy 12. There is also a new place beside the OPP station on the south side of the Hwy across from Walmart I will get the names this weekend.

Been a few years, but a bunch of us rented a home/cottage for the night closer to Collingwood, you might have better luck with a B&B or cottage rental.

A bit further, but we also stayed at the Marriott in Gravenhurst, they offer a great deal to sledders and a nice hotel.

Rode past the three hotel/motels in Midland close to the trails today. There are 3 that you can ride from to the C trail. They are the green circles shown on the ITG snapshot below. The Highland Inn used to be a Best Western but is now a Quality Inn. It is on the north west corner of King St and Hwy 12. On the south west corner of King St and Hwy 12. is the Comfort Inn. You can get on the trail from there without having to cross hwy 12. Then just west of there is a relatively new place only a few years old. It is the Midland Inn. The trail runs between the Inn and the OPP station.

In Wasaga the Saga Resort is right on 602 and the corner of Main St and River Ave Crescent. If you cross the bridge over the river the Georgian Inn used to be open year round.

The Midland Inn is a great place to stay!!!  We've stayed at all the places 02sled mentioned.  My number 1 pick would be the Midland Inn.  If not the other two were good also.
