KCC
According to facebook snow country page is not open yet. Below is what facebook said. "Foresters Falls trail B that turns into B101Q is groomed BUT is only to be used as a look out point for right now. Grooming preparation has begun and will be accessible when the Quebec side is finished. The bridge is hoping to be done by January 20th. Here's a few pictures of the look out point from last year." Shleeunit
Used the bridge this weekend it was amazing. Meant to stop to take a picture but didn't get the chance. Can't find any pictures of it online? If you know a link or have any can you post the link?
COLD BEER
I made it over last week with a group of 8 for the Quebec free weekend. It is very nice to be able to cross the Ottawa River with out having to worry about ice thickness. To the Quebec and Ontario clubs that constructed the deck, well done and thank you. Canuck
Thanks for the info, group. Not familiar with that area, but looking at the Interactive Guide I now see that it's just north of Renfrew (and south of Pembroke). Cold Beer's photo above shows what a massive undertaking this was. Great news for those seeking another link into Quebec, or vice versa.
