J-Fly
The new staging link is great, now we have a starting point. Any good lunch spots? Thanks, JFly
Sneaks
Can't say I've eaten there, but if you go up the rail trail just a tiny bit further to markdale and take the access trail back to HWY 10, there's Donna's place that I've seen lots of sleds at. Gas station right beside (why I know.) Other side of foodland is also Steve's BBQ. Hopefully someone can weigh in on other options that they've actually eaten at. farmergeorge
Steves bbq is good(believe its the same owner as the one in Shelburne) or you could head to mount forest and get lunch at The Spot on the north end of town where the b111 crosses hwy
Turbo Doo
We have ate at both the spot in Mt forest and Donna's place this past weekend. Both are good. Donna's place in markdale has gas right next door.
J-Fly
Very helpful guys, thanks. Looks like the trails are holding!
farmergeorge
There is a fair bit of snow in our area, might be some thin spots where the wind has blown it away. Conditions have been good, rail bed will probably be the roughest part of the ride
