Just looked at the twn forecast for tomorrow, and it looks like we'll be getting around 10cm! I was driving back from Oshawa this morning down Hwy 9 through Newmarket and it was snowing then. Might have to fire up the old bravo and go for a burn down the street...

let it snow!

Saw our first snow flurries here today.

Got on-line, and bought my pass when I got home from work..

Tonight, on an errand for Diane, returning a set of forgotten keys, I felt a bit chilled, so I popped on one of my sled jackets from the closet on my way out the door....

I think there's still a month of dirt biking to be done, but I'm thinking sledding!!

Weird how it's only calling for 1-3 up there and 5-10 down here..

Light dusting here in Barrie. The radar shows a heavier squall coming shortly.

No but I fluffed it up.What a country.At 9 AM ,no snow.So I go out to cut the grass and mulch leaves at our new to us Carling abode and I find myself using the lawn mower in a snow storm. The real cost,nothing.The sight of it, priceless.

Let it snow. If there is enough, I am taking the sled out tonight to ride the unplowed roads. Might be a little ambitious to think it could be possible, but it is always nice to dream about riding in October.

Here's how things look at the moment in North Muskoka...and it's still snowing hard.  Looks beautiful, but we shouldn't get too excited, as it's just an early "tease" given the forecast warm-up on the weekend.

The roads were a bit slushy this afternoon. Will be all gone tomorrow. Suppose to be warm on Saturday. Pic from a couple minutes ago looking out onto the street.first snow 27 oct 2016.jpg
