Carling Trailblazers major trail closure

Running Wild

Recommended Posts

I was going to start a  post here about this but by chance found that the story was already posted under The Parry Sound District section. That's good. Don't know what others do but I usually just check the Main Clubhouse to see what's new. Check out the post in the district section for more info.  Doesn't look good right now.

Not a good thing to see ,just takes one tard to have a landowner shut his property off for good

thanks for the updates guys. I was just curious as to which trails were affected. really enjoy riding out of there and would suck if we're cut off...but that's the way it sounds based on the article? very vague.

I will be attending the meeting next week, should know more details about the where & why then.

I hope my wife can get to the meeting. It would be a shame for us to move up there in 3 weeks and then not be able to enjoy local trails.

Feel free to PM if she doesn't make it. Hopefully you will be okay depending on where in Carling.

I'm not feeling as optimistic about those of us located in Nobel however. We shall see.....

The "trail closed" signs are already posted, not sure if this can be rectified.

As of this writing trails 402,404,405,409 & C-ALT from Nobel to Parry Sound will not be open for the upcoming season.

So looking @ the ITG I take it the only access to Parry Sound will be from the south?

so what is the issue?

Does it have to do with the recent government bill?

New landowners>?

Trespassing?

Signs recently put up read; "Trail Closed, thank the Ontario government". Refers to Bill100
