white dragon Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 headed to dubreuiville with ac+ya & daughter(paige),bill,carter,fire242(glenn)lily & myself.ride to warm-up shack was great,where lily told me she had to go pee.layer of clothes later job was done & back on trail to hornepayne.trail seemed like it was groomed again,wasn't but filled in perfect..filled up in hornepayne with gas & snacks.heading down d108a was great,we soon jumped on to logging road that runs parallel with trail.there was 2 ft of powder snow,what a blast.we hooked back onto trail to we came to the northern warm-up shack (put wd/oc sticker) we talked for 30 mins & had about 3" of fluffy snow on us & sleds.scott had mentioned we may see groomer guy in the groomer on our way,20 min later there he was.. was great to finally meet luc,after viewing his utube vids & reading his posts... we then carried on to dubreuiville,we stayed at magpie.it is beautiful the rooms are spacious,clean & updated...little to posh for me but what heck.has nice heated garage for sleds & shooting the bull,owner paul also will drive you to local pub. we were all in our room when luc showed up & was ready for dinner...super bowl sunday & all.we jumped into the minivan & were off the local pub was great with big screens,beer & good food.i had ordered for lily & I burger for me & chicken finger with fries for lily,when the food arrived the waitress said to lily "your pizza will be right here"lily's table was full...lol from all at table.game was good,half time show even better. pic of lily & paige it was getting late & lily was tired,waitress probably served her drinks too call paul for pick-up,little small talk back at motel & off to bed.bad news first thing was about gas not open till 11am,called paul & he made call.gas open at 9am...thx god...went for breaky with everyone,said our good byes & headed back to hearst.ride back was great dubreuiville is a great place with great people,i'll be back Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We haven't had a chance to meet him up there on our travels. Big Reg tried to help us when the S-I-L's sled went down in '12. Unfortunately he didn't have a REV jackshaft. Helped me "warm" up my sled the next day when it started acting up. Too bad it wasn't closer, but then all the weekend warrirs would be there & mess up the place .
