slomo
My own ritual - watch the OFSC map as the sledding days dwindle down to precious few....can't find the remaining 8 kilometers 'available' though....cruel bastards...
Techdenis007
You would have been ok last weekend .... all of the Northern trails closed within 3 days or so, I think Hornepayne was the last to go... they were still open yesterday I believe. We went for a ride last night down a few roads around Hearst, all the trails we could see had dirt showing and only a touch of snow left on them. Doris26 said she wanted to go riding too !!! Doogirl69
Looks like the total system closed is earlier this year. Last year they were not all closed till April 29th.
Techdenis007
All the Northern Ontario trails from Wawa/Dub thru Cochrane fell in one week. Seems like the spring melt was faster this year than last. Last year we rode out to where we camped in Mattice, on the 2nd weekend of April. Wouldn't have tried this year.
