SlowTouringGuy
Another Tree Cleared Lunch Break ! When we weren't clearing we were packing. Also built two crossings... We got turned back. It needs to freeze up or it needs to thaw - the in between stuff is great for getting stuck balls deep ! More dead fall. Easier sledding when it's all clear.... There's a section of B south we couldn't access from Riley Lake because of ice/water conditions in a long stretch of flooded trail - if the ice were a little thicker or a little thinner it would have been possible but, unfortunately, it's just the worst thickness right now. We were able to brush trails from Kahshe South along Witbeck Road and Muskoka 6 to Summerland and along the side Frank Cooper Trail.. As always, a Beauty day in the Bush !! SlowTouringGuy
Great job. Thanks to all the volunteers. Do the Argos belong to the snowmobile club or the volunteers? The Argos are ours. Three of us each have an Argo and, aside from all the other things we use them for during the year, they are terrific for trail work in this area. Re:Leaf
Wow that's amazing. The Argos are perfect for your area and I'm not sure how you would get the trail work done with out them. Thanks again to the volunteers for their time and equipment.

Blake G
Way to go guys. Our terrain sure makes things difficult. Bad luck in the geography department.

Doogirl69
It seems that the trees always fall on the trail and not in the bush. Mother Nature can be nasty sometimes.
02Sled
A big tip of the helmet and thanks to the volunteers.... most of us here all realize how much work goes into the trails year after year. Too bad the general public don't get to see those pictures and all the hard volunteer work that happens and they take for granted. Thanks again. SlowTouringGuy
It seems that the trees always fall on the trail and not in the bush. Mother Nature can be nasty sometimes. Today's philosophical thought experiment: If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there does it fall on a trail ?
SlowTouringGuy
Pretty cool out there you must have worn your woollies It was a cool day but nothing keeps you warmer than working. The coldest I got was when we stopped for lunch. (I also brought a woolie to keep us warm. baaaaaa)
