GBayrider
Planning to ride from Cook's Bay to just north of Port Severn on Wednesday. Heard from a ice fish guy that Kempenfelt bay is solid across from Big Bear Point. Anyone been across there? Looking for suggestion on good stops for food and gas. Thanks! Canuck
Also want to extend a greeting - welcome to the forum. Hopefully 'local knowledge' will pipe in regarding ice conditions.
GBayrider
Hi, we took a quick rip up the lake today and were able to access the trail from the 7th line. So tomorrow will like be a nice run for us firm home to the cottage. Lake is in great condition, smoother than in past years. There is a very large pressure crack across the top of Kempenfelt out on the lake, so you have to pay attention. There was a crossing marked by trees close to Big Bay Point. So it was all good. Live to ride!
Re:Leaf
That's great. ODSC was out tonight grooming so the trails should be perfect. Enjoy your ride and write back and let us know how your day turns out. Leaf
