They have 43 rooms (12 suites) available, swimming pool, hot tub, and a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm sure they will be very interested in attracting snowmobilers to stay with them in the winter and to eat at their restaurant. Harbour Inn is located on lake simcoe (Brechin) and very close to trail 207 and 103. There is an Ultramar gas station close by as well. There are not a lot of accomodation choices in this immediate area - Peninsula Inn in Pefferlaw to the south, two places around Casino Rama and a few properties in Orillia to the north and that's about it. Would you know if you can sled 'from your door' to the trail or how easy access is from where you park? According to OFSC trail map, looks like the trail touches one corner of the complex. If you know the new owners maybe let them know some sledding info on their web site would be helpful. BTW what happened to the Coffee Time in Brechin? Looks like a fire? It sounds like they are committed to investing time and money into Harbour Inn. They just replaced the old patio with a very nice raised deck. Yes WD the time share BS is over and it's now a hotel and restaurant. The food is good Pub grub in the $10-$20 range. They just purchased the old derelict building across from Coffee Time and are planning to use the outside walls to advertise Harbour Inn. Yes a car drove through the front window of Coffee Time, it just opened again a few weeks ago. You can access the trails from the lagoon when it's safe or ride approx 400m along the side of the road to the trail. I don't know the owner but I know this area needs a well run hotel and a restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. I will contact the owner and suggest they add a snowmobiling section to their website. Maybe they should consider advertising on the trail map or on OC. Who should they contact about advertising? I was excited about this restaurant and hotel and looking forward to having breakfast there in the winter. It's a great place and I was hoping that everything would work out well for them.
