mgooding
I know all the trails are closed, but I am praying the trails will be open Family day weekend. I am planning a route from Haliburton to Burke's Falls. I am wondering if Eagle Lake, Moose Lake, Redstone Lake, and Kennisis Lake are staked yet? I am just wondering if we got the snow if they would be open thats all. Any information would be awesome!
Fred Quimby
I will send an e mail to our groomer coordinator and find out what has been staked. Trails need at least a foot of snow for sure...and I hate to say it but every time the Weather Network lists a good snowfall...it never materializes or they change it days later to nothing??? Despite staking...the lakes are good right now..and there is some lube back on them.

Fred Quimby
Lakes have been staked. "Jrhz06" was out there himself with a dental drill doing all the staking!! Seriously...the lakes will be the best riding right now. Lots of lube on them and good ice.
