wisted
Four of us are starting out of Spanish Ont, riding into Quebec on the A101Q, then heading up the 386. How is that trail? Any info would be appreciated. Also has anyone recently ridden from Larder Lake to Three Bears?
KCC
The A101Q from Highway 17 to the Swisha is road running 2.5 kms, you will have to cross a steel grated single lane bridge (its not nice). Then about 1kms to the snowmobile trail.
largedaryl
wisted... best to look at a map because as kcc notes, you are on the road for a while, and signage is minimal. Makes you 2nd guess yourself if new to the region. Kind of luck of the draw on road conditions... ... ran it mid-feb last year and the road was not great in terms of snow coverage.. much better on the qc side though. the 386 is twisty for a while out of swisha then opens up real nice
