wannago Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 Just took a walk over to the D123 where it heads towards Peggs Mountain Rd. looked pretty good. Packed last night or this morning. No sled tracks and only one sled went by in the time we were outside. Drizzle has changed back to snow now. With this snow and the cold coming tonight conditions should be pretty good by tomorrow. wannago Posted January 20, 2013 Author Share Posted January 20, 2013 Trails looked good from the road as we left today and knowing the Almaguin club they will be out today to groom. Looking forward to reports and pics from giddy and mm. Wedding for us next weekend and then back up with the sleds the following weekend. It HAS begun! Interesting ride home today. The snow is low. I was hitting rocks at the end of feb last year, and there was 3 feet of snow. Didn't help my yamaha ski's were decayed though. Hopefully these doo skis will flex and not fall apart.
