  1. It's not the GRCA. We are the only club who operates on CVC property. Our club has been at the forefront of work on the GRCA , in fact. But no progress there. Have you made progress on GRCA?
  2. Anyone doing pro bono work or know of someone on the west side of the GTA that could help our club with the a custom LUA with one of the local cons. authorities? OFSC tells us the insurer won't "take on the liability" of reviewing the document and we need a legal person to do it.
  3. Is there such a thing as a guide for land owner discussions? Our club might need to go to alot more land owners this season than usual to update land use MOU's. We're noobs at this and I was wondering if there was any kind of guide/advice for these conversations. We have some land owners who are local and very friendly to the club while we have other "absentee" land lords who don't even see the property. I checked Clubhouse for any kind of guide/advice for these potentially delicate conversations but came up empty. So I figured I'd go to the pro's.
  4. Yikes. There some major issues in the Quebec system. Akin to Ontario. Too many groomers. Too many "rich" clubs vs "poor clubs". If not for the ardent support of Qc Govt's over the years the whole works would have likely collapsed. With changes to laws this season that can once again allow people sue clubs for "too much noise" or similar complaints, it is not a great start to the decade. Quebec snow, trails, passion for sledding and just overall great experience are worth the money but still, $330 early bird is steep.
  5. Thanks for the confirmation. Thought I was going a little bit Coo Coo for cocoa puffs there.
  6. July 5 2019, westbound 401, Cambridge Service Center. 7:00AM Full tractor trailer of Ski Doo crates. No pics, sorry. But I'm sure them crates said Ski Doo. #Winteriscoming
  7. Kind of a Captain Obvious sort of study. Alot of us don't see snow or available trails anymore and must trailer hundreds of km away from home. Fuel, lodging and meals multiple times in a season. Ofsc should partner with 407ETR next season and get members a discount on transponder fees.
