Has anyone stayed at the Super 8 in Timmins this year? Wondering if the trail to access the hotel has been cleared since last year?

Has anyone ridden trails in the Port Loring area lately? How are the trails?

Has anyone stayed at the Microtel in Kirkland Lake? It does not show up on the interactive map, so I'm wondering if it's easy to access by trail?

Yes it was. I believe they were heading there today to fix it.

All was good. The roads were all snow covered. Trails were great! The weather was perfect! On Sunday we decided to take another route instead of back tracking the KL way. We took the L143 with a stop at Auld Reekie for lunch. This trail was good too even though it was still yellow on the ITG. The only bad trails were the last 20-30km around New Liskeard on our way back. Which was to be expected with the weekend traffic.

I stayed at Moose Horn last year with my dad, it was fantastic! We were suppose to have rooms in the main building, but a cottage became available, so we ended up in a beautiful cottage! And the food was delicious!

We are thinking of trailering to New Liskeard to do a weekend trip. Ride to Timmins and back the next day. Does anyone have any report on the trails that way? How's the road running between Matheson and Val Gagné?
