  1. the groomer is alive and roaming the great trails of north HCSA. Trail 2 north of 118 was in great shape Saturday.
  2. Saw the bombi parked in Carnarvon on the weekend and the north Haliburton trails were rough to say the least. Funny how the intersection of trail 64 and 16 can have such a major variation in trail condition when they are side by side.
  3. BRAVO TALL PINES

They sure did give up. I ran from north shore up trail 4, 15 and 16 to get to tall pines and it was all good, some ice and the odd rock here and there but if the groomer paid a visit they would have been as good as tall pines. Clocked 300 miles in 3 days with a couple of buddies. Great last ride? good to hear you got out Yak, did you have a decent winter?? My year was pretty light as far as riding goes, I had just over 1200m on before Revor and I went on our northern trip. I did have fun when I got out. finished the year off with only 2600m. Oh well, saved me some cash for racing this year I guess. Hey Wildman its been OK as long as I wasn't wasting my time clearing trails for HCSA. Where did you go?

  5. BRAVO TALL PINES

Conditions were better than reported last weekend, we were lucky to be first on Friday morning after grooming and conditions were fine throughout the weekend. 64 was amazing. AND A big thanks to HCSA for keeping trail 16 closed. The trail was great and no traffic.
  6. Any Hope for this weekend

Based on the latest info from env can, the area around algonquin park looks like a good bet. Tall pines is still showing limited.
  7. Bracebridge and North?

Tall Pines and Haliburton trails were great but busy yesterday. Snowed all night should be perfect today.
  8. Ox narrows Area!

hey wally, you need a hand showing the folks around the bush? Wouldn't want to see you runnin into the sasquatches and aliens all by your lonesome....
  9. Ox Narrows Brushing B

We should be up around 7.
  10. Ox Narrows Brushing B

Looks like the B will be the next trail on the HCSA map that will have red X's through the entire trail. See Club Ontario Central..."Let's Get Together and Open Haliburton" topic. All our hard work for F/A.
  11. Lets get together and open Haliburton

I will be sending my permit dollars elsewhere next year unless the club has a serious change of direction.....
  12. Lets get together and open Haliburton

wanted to check it yesterday but Yakette had enough with the brush cutting etc... She just wanted to ride the groomed, me too. I heard throught the grapevine that they plan on grooming from 118 north to the bridge at Anson and will also try to push south as well. When, I'm not sure. At least now there is a loop from Kushog to 16, to the B, down the B, across the old Brady connector trail, across Brady lake to the (non groomed but brushed) Brady/Kushog trail and back onto Kushog lake.
  13. Lets get together and open Haliburton

B is now partially open from 16 south to Anson lake. The old connector to Brady Lake has also been opened. Thanks to to oxnarrowsresort, andyo, Craig, Yakette and the groomer for the help Saturday. Bridge south of Anson is in bad shape and cannot be crossed by the groomer. Some intrepid souls have been running the rest of the trail down to 118.
  14. Lets get together and open Haliburton

actually I was tryin to attrack that samsquantch that was spotted just north of 118.
