  1. If you want cheap there is a motel beside the XTR gas station just as you are coming into Haliburton I was getting gas there and the sign was $ 80 a night . Sorry can't remember the name .
  2. Everyone rides the edge of the road through town over the bridge , it's a tough go if there is no fresh snow same thing to get through Norland.
  3. Nice ride up through Temagami , no place to stop at after Temagami for coffee or food . The trail goes through the gas station parking lot. Sand Dam parking lot is a bit of a lonely place to park, I have parked there a few times never had any problems. Sometimes theres 20-30 trucks and trailers some times your the only one . If your staying the night the Water Front Inn is a good spot Restaurant at the hotel and lcbo across the street.
  4. Its a wide road and has been plowed in the past but if there not logging the area may not be plowed.
  5. Yes it is a paved road , the plow driver does a good good of cleaning all the snow off the road . I think it was 10km (6miles) from the trail on Ranger lake road to the secondary road /logging road turn right and follow to the trail. Not many spots to get off the road and get snow in your track so if you see a good spot get into it
  6. quebecrider forum has some good info and stories about The White Trail and some other interesting info on Labrador
  7. Nice travels you have Solmo ! Is there trail acess right at the Rodeway Inn or is there a bit of road running to get there ?
  8. interesting.............whats the new ride
  9. I rode a few hundred miles with a 5000 cat , after 3 tanks of fuel l averaged about 25% more on each tank on my new Yamaha. Now that it is broke in it has only gotten slightly better, the turbo makes it easy to burn a bit more. I think for the price you can not go wrong buying that cat 5000!
