  1. they need a tractor on souceys and a drag with an adjustable pan, one pass down the center of those trails ripping it to rock and dumping piles of snow and park it. It is utterly ridiculous to be spending permit money on this nonsense. If they are closed, make them a pain in the *** to ride. Make it so no one will ride them.
  2. judging from the point of impact on the black sled and the position they are sitting, at the point of impact both sleds must have been on the wrong side.....looks like both parties ran out of talent to me......there is plenty of realestate there to work with. It's an all new kind of stupid out there these days.
  3. Mark and Brenda of Brenmar are awesome, If I had the time I would have ordered from them, mine was a last minute purchase.
  4. in 17 I tried dealing with those jack rods, I did not want leaf spring suspension, I wanted torsion axles, the guy was telling me that torsion axles were no good and would not work properly for my application. I informed him that if they were the proper axles for the proper weight classification, they would work just fine. All they had on the lot were leaf sprung trailers. I went to Chestermens and bought a pace himark with torsion axles, no questions asked. Action called me back to see if I wanted to buy a trailer.......the place is a joke. It is also very close to me, 20mins er so.
  5. I am skeptical, MTO permit, the sport provides a huge tax revenue and it is an outdoor activity that you are essentially doing individually. I think they have put enough rules on it that it should remain on the essential list.
  6. no, I earned that around the end of secondary school, lol
  7. It can happen and it looks just like that, skis hooked opposite of each other around the tree. I had a misshap north of Latchford years ago on my t cat, didnt damage the hood but made a mess of the bracing behind the front bumper and knocked all three pipes out of the couplers on the engine. Not an easy task of getting it out, plus mine was a good 6 to 7 feet off the ground
  8. alcohol coupled with speed and limited visabilty, it was snowing extremely hard. Very sad that these things happen......I look back at 24, I have no room to judge, condolences to the family the young man leaves behind. I understand the frustration in others posts, it is a sport that takes a great amount of scrutiny from non snowmobiling public. These types of avoidable incidents just keep piling on, we need to live with it, we clearly cannot stop it.
  9. Merry Christmas, may everyone have a safe season on the white gold!!!!
  10. doesn't matter which way a shock is mounted, rebound and compression does not change with shock orientation.
  11. 4 inches er so once the rain turned early evening yesterday, still snowing and crappy enough the deer aren't moving without tripping over them.
  12. doesn't matter, the permit need to be permanently attached to the vehicle......bolts are removable . I would just place it on the hood/cowling in or as close to the approved location below the windscreen.
  13. I see on the ITG, the west side of the canyon isn't red anymore, it's just gone.
  14. I was forced to join it to get racing information, tracks don't update their websites like they do their facebook page......I fought it for years, but the one that was missing out was me. Its a great tool, lots of info there.
  15. when operations are run through the district and there is a strong trail committee, the list of resources is very impressive. To bad there wasn't cooperation system wide, cause it works.
  16. I've rode that bridge many times on an atv.....it is high
  17. I don't have allot of info, but club general meetings are still held the first Thursday of the month from oct to March
  18. REVED, thanks again for looking after the hat orders, great looking and fitting hats. Viper, thanks for bringing them to the sled show.......now don't let my new ski dog get scratched up!!!!!
  19. Either way is fine, at one time it could have been all capitals
  20. Hat quantity: 2 Color: black Toque quantity: 2 Name on left side of all: wildman
  21. Forest Golf & Country Club, the trail is right across the hi-way. The Oakwood, in Grand Bend, trail head is across the hi-way. There are other Motels in Grand Bend, but trail access is difficult even when u know the area. If u stay in Forest, u will start ur riding on the Warwick S/C trails, if u start in GB u will b on the Pineridge S/C trails.
